Our gateway has you covered if you need to connect to devices over RS-485. The Gateway is equipped with a 10 mbps RS-485 transceiver. - 5V and 3.3V Sensors with I2C
You can easily interface low power sensors over I2C (like environment sensors). All you have to do is plug them into the JST-XH sensor header. As long as the sensors draw a total current of less than 250mA, the Gateway can power them all.
